this work is born out of the need to reconnect with sound and explore its pure characteristics, free from musical structures, scores, visual feedback and any other sensory input other than hearing.
the 4 tracks are the outcome of the intimate process of experimenting and learning how to interact with a single bespoke instrument, built around the idea of feedback and modulation, which due to its nature can be very unstable and unpredictable as well as pretty static.
the key to play with such an instrument is that of listening to it, reacting to its will and have it reacting to yours. there is a need to establish a sort of symbiosis between player and instrument, where roles aren't always predefined and there is a flat hierarchy.

this work is the outcome of an ongoing research on improvisation, bespoke instruments and minimal sonic forms and setups.

all tracks were recorded live and haven't been edited in any way.
